Itinerary

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.

Transfer to Hotel and check-in.

Evening: Visit Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you'll witness Hindu rituals, prayers, and evening aarti.

Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Morning: Visit Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient stupa offers a panoramic view of the Kathmandu Valley and is one of the most revered Buddhist pilgrimage sites.

Later: Head to Kathmandu Durbar Square, an important historical site with palaces, courtyards, and temples from the Malla Dynasty. Don’t miss the Kumari Ghar, home to the living goddess, Kumari.

Afternoon: Visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in Nepal, surrounded by prayer flags and monasteries. It’s a major center for Tibetan Buddhism.

Evening: Explore Thamel, Kathmandu’s popular tourist area, known for its lively atmosphere, restaurants, and souvenir shops.

Morning: Drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, an exceptionally preserved medieval city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore landmarks like the 55-Window Palace, Nyatapola Temple, and the Vatsala Temple.

Later: Visit the Patan Durbar Square in Lalitpur, known for its Newari architecture and artistic heritage. Highlights include the Krishna Temple, Golden Temple, and Patan Museum, which houses ancient artifacts and sculptures.

Evening: Return to Kathmandu.

Morning: Drive to Nagarkot (32 km from Kathmandu) early in the morning to catch the stunning sunrise over the Himalayas, including views of Mount Everest on a clear day. Nagarkot is known for its panoramic Himalayan vistas.

Later: On the way back, stop at the Changu Narayan Temple, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and the oldest temple in the Kathmandu Valley, dating back to the 4th century. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and showcases intricate wood and stone carvings.

Afternoon: Return to Kathmandu and enjoy some leisure time or additional sightseeing as per your preference.
