Itinerary
Arrive in Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan.
Visit the Independence Square (Mustakillik Maydoni), a symbol of Uzbekistan’s freedom.
Explore the Amir Timur Square, a central square with a monument dedicated to Timur (Tamerlane), one of the country’s most famous historical figures.
Visit Chorsu Bazaar, a vibrant local market where you can experience the daily life and culture of Tashkent.
Explore Kukeldash Madrasah, one of the oldest madrasahs in Tashkent.
Overnight stay in Tashkent.
Take a morning high-speed train (Afrosiyob) or drive to Samarkand (about 2 hours by train).
Visit Registan Square, one of the most famous landmarks in Central Asia. It consists of three grand madrasahs: Ulugh Beg Madrasah, Sher-Dor Madrasah, and Tilya-Kori Madrasah.
